Light Pillar apps for OS X store most settings data in the Application Support directory, which is the location recommended by Apple for apps to write data files. If you drag an app to the trash any files it has created in the Application Support folder remain on the disk which may be undesirable if you are attempting to completely remove the app.

- Locate the app in your Applications folder
- Drag the app to the trash
- Open the Finder app
- Click the Go menu
- Select the Go To Folder... option
- copy and paste the path "~/Library/Application Support/" into the Go To Folder box making sure to include the ~ and exclude the quotes
- Press the Go button
- In the folder that opens in folder locate the subfolder matching the apps name
- Delete the subfolder with the same name as the app by dragging it to the trash
