In order for Mosaic to detect when you are dragging a window from another app, and also to give Mosaic permission to resize it, Mosaic must be granted permission to use Accessibility features of macOS.
In addition, since macOS 10.15 Catalina a second permission is now required to allow Mosaic to detect when you are dragging the mouse within another application so that Mosaic can determine if you are dragging a window to display the Layout options. This permission is called Input Monitoring and is new to Catalina.
For drag & drop to function correctly in Mosaic on macOS 10.14 or earlier, Mosaic only requires the Accessibility permissions. For macOS 10.15 Catalina and later both permissions are required. In order to grant access to each of these permissions please follow the instructions below, we are currently working to make this as simple as possible for our customers in future releases of Mosaic, but the instructions should get you up and running quickly:
