When an iOS app crashes, iOS saves a crash log which can help developers locate the problem which caused the crash. Crash logs are copied to your desktop computer when you sync with iTunes and can be located and emailed to developers to help them resolve your issue.
To locate the crash log files:
On Mac OS X computers:
~/Library/Logs/CrashReporter/MobileDevice/<your iPhone’s name>/
Please note that by default on recent versions of OS X the ~/Library folder is hidden as it contains files that most customers never need to be concerned with. In order to open this folder if your Library folder is hidden:
C:\Documents and Settings\\Application Data\Apple computer\Logs\CrashReporter\<your iPhone’s name>\
On Microsoft Windows Vista and later computers:
C:\Users\\AppData\Roaming\Apple computer\Logs\CrashReporter\MobileDevice\<your iPhone’s name>\
Within these folders you will see files which contain the name of the app which crashed. Locate the files for the app you are reporting the issue about and email these as attachments to the developer.
