    Hi,

Any thoughts on this?   Any reason why your trial license isn't working.   I'd love to give Mosaic a try.

    Same here.

I would like to test to evaluate. But I will look for another alternative.

    Hi Friends,

I have experienced exactly the same issue - unable to start a trial!

Hi, I've experienced the same issue when I started the trial.

    Any answer?

    Thanks.

The same thing happened to me. I'm interested in Mosaic but I'm not going to buy it without being able to try it out first. This is an M1 Mac.

Is it normal for support threads like this to go for months with no comment from Lightpillar?

Hmm... Happened to me too. Sends a pretty strong vibe of poor quality.

It seems that they don't want customers... I mean I know it's not a lot of money but if this issue still issn't solved after months that sends a really bad message. Another M1 user here who didn't get to use the trial for a second. I saw something about an account required but the app doesn't seem to offer a login method.

    Same here.

So I wonder... either they don't really know what a trial is, or they suck at offering support and continued app development.

Either way, it's reason enough to keep away from their software. There are plenty of alternatives out there.

I must be one of the only ones who bought Mosaic even though I had the same experience. I had seen a few YouTube videos about it and the functionality is amazing. The ability to drag windows into a pop-up to do custom sizes and custom templates is unreal.

I already own Magnet, but couldn't find the grid functionality, it seemed all pre-defined. If you know this is an option or it's been added can you let me know?

After buying, I discovered the way to do custom templates could be better, but once set up the usability is 100%.

Complaints: Minor adjustments like making the pop up window smaller would be nice.

I didn't have an issue with buying without a trial as a few programs out there don't have a free trial, however software that is not maintained is the issue. I saw a post saying that chrome no longer re-sizes correctly, I assume after an update. I use Safari so I can't verify that, but that's a big issue.

I have an issue where version 1.3 (now up to 1.3.3) stated it had native Apple Silicon support. If this is true why does my Mac ask to install Rosetta when I'm re-installing Mosaic?

I guess we'll watch the software slowly turn to rubble.

An alternative I tried is Moom, and although it has the same custom grip layout design I love the pop-up drag and drop feature of Mosaic. Moom requires you to assign keyboard shortcuts, or use the zoom button of the window you're in, click another button, then browse templates. Usability is at about 30% for me compared to Mosaic.

For now I'm sticking with Mosaic.
