Issues with Resizing and importing / exporting preferences

Some apps won't follow the resizing commands after using a while. the biggest two are Safari and Preview in my daily use.

Another issue is that the importing and exporting of saved preferences would crash the app and the preferences may or may not be properly imported / exported.

These two issues are very annoying so please fix them as soon as possible.
