Where are the files in the Shadow Desktop?

You can customise the location of the Shadow Desktop, however by default they are stored in the following location:

~/Library/Application Support/Desktop Tidy/Shadow Desktop/

Please note that the ~ is important, it represents the root of your user folder. In recent versions of OS X the Library folder is hidden by default. To locate this folder without having to unhide the Library folder:

• Open the Finder app
• Click the Go menu
• Select the Go To Folder... option
• Copy and paste the above path into the Go To Folder... box ensuring you include the ~
• Press Go

Please note that if you change the location of the Shadow Desktop files are not automatically relocated and you should move them manually.
